Southeast Asia Food Group is an Asian grocery and produce distributor to restaurants, corporate cafeterias and catering services in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

We are seeking an experienced cargo van driver in making deliveries in Manhattan, NY. Applicant must be available to work five (5) days a week between the hours of 5:00 AM - 7:00 PM. This may include weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Own truck loading with a sense of urgency
• Deliver all goods in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure that all items are received by customer by having customer sign a copy of the invoice
• Accept returns, load truck and return to the warehouse
• Pick up goods from vendors
• Able to lift 50lbs multiple times per shift
• Other assigned tasks

Requirements:

• Experience driving a cargo van
• Experience delivering fragile or perishable goods
• Ability to learn and work independently
• Extraordinary organizational skills
• Willing to accept and deliver feedback
• Have a driver license for at least 3 years

Preference:

• Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese or Spanish
• Experience driving box trucks as large as 28 feet

Compensation:

• Starting at $19 (depending on experience)
